warranty and a guarantee?

At Leinbach Services, we provide our customers with both warranties and guarantees. The words are similar in that they’re both promises, but there’s definitely a difference. Here’s an overview of the difference between a warranty and a guarantee.

Warranties for homeowners

When customers are provided a warranty, they have a written contractual promise that the quality or lifespan of a specific purchased PRODUCT will be met within a certain amount of time. If the product doesn’t meet the conditions of the warranty, it can usually be returned, repaired, or replaced by the company the warranty originates from.

For example, the company Bryant Heating and Cooling Systems offers warranties on several of their products, such as their heating and cooling systems, filter cabinets, air purifiers, humidifiers, etc.

Bryant’s warranty agreements states that if a part fails due to defect during the warranty time limit, they will provide a new or remanufactured part at no charge, or they will provide the customer with a credit, instead.

Bryant decides whether the product will be replaced or returned. Typically, there are several stipulations and requirements that need to be met in order for a product to be covered in a warranty. Guarantees

A guarantee is an agreement from Leinbach Services to their customers assuming responsibility to perform, execute, or complete a job and offering security for that agreement. We take pride in the degree of skill with which a job is done or in other words, our workmanship.

If additional labor is required due to fault in our workmanship, the problem will be repaired at no additional cost to the customer. This guarantee isn’t valid unless payment has been made in full and doesn’t include materials, equipment, manufacturer’s items, or damage beyond our control (such as acts of God). With our exclusive lifetime guarantee, our goal is to provide our customers with the additional value and peace of mind they deserve. All that’s needed to address the concerns is to mention it while scheduling preventative maintenance.
