I am happy to say that your employees were very helpful with what have been a totally unpleasant situation at my home. My wife and I had our three-year-old grandson visiting with us for the week during what was apparently the hottest week of the year. We discovered late Tuesday evening that our air conditioning was not blowing any refrigerated air into our house. So, at 8:00 AM the next morning, my wife called the Johnson City company that had installed our unit some years ago. That company politely told her that they could not even come out to check our unit for ten days! After some thought, my wife called Leinbach Services Inc. and they had someone on the job by 10:00 that morning. It took two men all day, but by 4:30 that afternoon, my air conditioning was back up and running. I believe if it had not been for your employees, my wife and I would have been forced to take our grandson to a motel for the night.

My parents are 70 years old and their heat pump stopped working on an evening that the temperature was in the 90’s. They were very uncomfortable and when they called the heat pump installer, they were told that no one could respond until the next day. When my Dad called me I immediately called Jim Leinbach (at 7:34 PM on a Tuesday) and he had service rep Jeff returned my call within minutes and within the next 90 minutes the heat pump was fixed and cooling the home. Leinbach Services Inc. has just been such a blessing to our family! We purchased an 18 yo Foreclosure with 4, yes count them 4 HVAC systems. Right away I had a plumber, an electrician and an HVAC system person come out to do some work and check out the house. Then, I had some little things that needed attention at our new home the Foreclosure home and my old home that we’re in the process of selling. I decided to give Leinbach Services Inc. a try figuring this would be the situation for a few months needing little repairs here and there. So, Jeff an electrician came out to our old house to repair an outlet and he overheard me talking to my Realtor about a buckle she and a prospective buyer saw on the roof. My husband had a fella set up to put on our chimney cap that had blown off in the storms but that fella was trying to work it out with someone to bring over a taller ladder and it hadn’t worked out. My husband and I were discussing which roofing company to hire, and Jeff offered to fix it. Have you ever heard of an electrician that will get up on your roof and replace your chimney cap? I almost had a stroke on the spot I was so delighted! So of course it was the clear choice to ask Jeff if he would put in my new thermostats in the foreclosed house. He said he’d have Steve, the HVAC person give me a call to help me choose the best thermostats for our family situation. I have one child that likes to keep things really, really cold in the house. Steve called me that night, and made an appointment for Friday at 4:30 p.m. Steve is such a pleasure to work with explaining things that we should get done to preserve our aging systems whether Leinbach got the job or not. He also gave me some common sense tips on how to save energy but help my child be comfortable that likes it much colder in the house than the rest of the family. Steve noticed we didn’t have a filter in a return, and he asked do you need help with putting in the right filter? I said yes, because it seems we’ve got a bunch of sizes. Sure enough, he measured and we did have almost every size return! A few days later Steve was over to put in the thermostats and noticed a knocking sound. It was driving me crazy, but I forgot to mention it to him because I had so much on my mind. He fixed it! It’s like having a family of experts at your finger tips!

If you want a company that will go over and beyond and knows their stuff inside and out, then chose Leinbach Services Inc. My husband has been very concerned that such top rate “service” could be too expensive. However, we’ve found that Leinbach Services Inc. has worked within our budget constraints, and their pricing to be in line if not a better value than most situations. You won’t be disappointed. Obviously, customer service is their top priority!

Troy came to repair some seams that had begun to show due to settlement. My husband tried but just didn’t do it perfectly, and Troy explained to us what he did wrong and just did a lovely job! Steve replaced our attic fan that wasn’t working in our foreclosed home, and will replace our attic stairs in our new home. He begins painting in the next week or so the house we have on the market and advised us on the best sealant to buy for around our windows in our new home to reduce our energy costs. So many of their suggestions you might read, or learn over a period of time via experience. With the Leinbach Service’s team you benefit from their years of experience. Monday’s are probably the worst dreaded day of the week for many people. Now put that together with going to your basement only to find a “large” area of wet, soaked carpet, the area under and around your water heater wet with puddles of water.

Sometimes I don’t take a “situation” really well; I tried to get up as much water as I could and then tried to figure out myself what was going on; whether or not my water heater would need replaced and called several people asking advice and eventually being told to call a plumber. I’m sure, like anybody else hearing the word “plumber” money signs going off in your head. So, I started through the phone book and BAM – I realized I had my own personal “plumber” – so I picked up the phone and called Leinbach Services, and when Trina answered the phone all I said was “HELP.”

She got all of my information, told me she would contact someone and get them out there. Within 45 minutes, I had Jeff at my door. He checked out the situation, decided that the problem was not as bad as it could have been, went and got some materials and had things fixed within an hour. Needless to say, this made my Monday get a whole lot better.

I have worked with the guys from Leinbach Services over the past 2-3 years and have always found their service to be exemplary; always arrive at or around the time promised. There is always someone who knows about any problem we may have and knows how to tackle the problem and gets it fixed. They always come with a friendly greeting and a smile.

In this day and time, people are reluctant, taking a stab going through the yellow pages and not knowing who you are calling, what or WHO you might be getting; there are a lot of rip off artists out there. My wife and I have owned our home in Kingsport for about 4 years. When we bought it, we understood that the heat pump was about 20 years old and as a consequence, we knew that we were living on “borrowed time” and might soon be faced with replacing it. Rather than wait for something to happen to it, we felt it would be more effective if we proactively had somebody look at our heat pump to come up with a course of action that would prolong its life.

That is where Leinbach Services Inc. came in.

Steve came out to our house and told us the exact condition of our heat pump. He was obviously very knowledgeable and took the time to ensure that I understood what he was seeing. He recommended that we initiate a preventative maintenance plan that would trigger Leinbach Services Inc. to come out twice a year and check our system. Although we have had to replace a couple of parts on our unit, it is still going strong and we have paid a fraction of what it would have cost to replace it.

Oh, by the way, because of Leinbach Services Inc, we replaced our old mercury thermostat with a new electronic programmable one. The ability to program in the timing of when our heat and air conditioning comes on has saved out family hundreds of dollars in electricity costs since we installed it.

I can recommend Leinbach Services Inc. without hesitation to anybody because of their extreme professionalism. The money they have saved my family and I is just an added bonus!

Our experience with Leinbach Services has restored my faith in customer service.  Our initial contact with Steve from Leinbach Services occurred when one of our rental homes had repeated problems with a new air conditioning unit.  In 18 months we had at least two other companies service the unit with minimal improvement and then our tenent suggested we try Leinbach Services.  They impressed me immediately with their professionalism, courteous and promptnesss with returning calls, and the technician had the unit functioning properly in no time.  We began using Leinbach Services for all of our rental properties as well as our home.

When a family member called me about a window that needed to be repaired, I called Leinbach Services. My family member thought since I was in the “window business”, I would repair an old broken window. Since I replace windows, not repair them, I did not hesitate to refer her to Leinbach Services because I knew she was in good hands.
